Sending an ad to the MPA Classifieds

If you have any ads that you would like in next week's MPA Classifieds, e-mail them to bulletin@michiganpress.org. If you are looking to publish a job listing please see the Career portal page and sign up. Any other ads email bulletin@michiganpress.org.

No charge for ads from member newspapers of the Michigan Press Association and students whose papers are MPA members.

Ads must be submitted to bulletin@michiganpress.org no later than Wednesday noon. Non-MPA member ads 100 words or less run for four weeks for $40 with payment due in advance.

Non-MPA student ads 100 words or less run for four weeks for $20 with payment due in advance. All ads should be limited to 100 words. All ads containing over 100 words will be charged an extra $10. The MPA Classifieds are available at MichiganPress.org.

This list is a free weekly mailing list of newspaper positions available, distributed by Michigan Press Association. You will receive the list via e-mail each Thursday afternoon.

As the Homer Index readies to celebrate its 150th anniversary, it’s time to pass the ownership baton off to new blood, as the  The Index has served the people of Homer - and more recently Litchfield - since 1872. The stable newspaper has had just seven publishers in its rich history, in part because Homer is a great place to raise a family. Homer is centrally located within an hour of Ann Arbor, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Ft. Wayne - with much shorter commutes to Battle Creek, Jackson, Marshall and Coldwater. Homer is a thriving, friendly, rural community, with a nearly-new high school/middle school, an appreciation for the arts and a strong business community. We have a strong presence on Facebook, and readers have a choice of the traditional print edition or our digital edition.
